To ensure a safe damper seal, electrically
operated Fail Safe actuators, type RAR, are used. They guarantee
a quick and easy check of safety dampers.
The actuator can be operated in any position with the supplied crank
handle and can be locked with a screwdriver.
Fail Safe actuator RAR replaces most damper actuator brands on the
market and is very easy to mount, through its direct coupling on the
damper shaft.
When there is a demand for tight dampers (e.g inlet dampers) the Fail
Safe actuator RAR is the right solution for most types of damper
installations.
If there are disruptions in supply voltage, the fail safe actuator is
turned off mechanically by a spring within 20 to 25 seconds thus ensuring the
tightness of the damper mode .
RAR has the option of a fixed and an adjustable auxiliary switch (40°-90°)
for adjustable starting point and range for end stops.
The fan or the signal of the actuator´s operating mode to the BMS-system
can be controlled by using the auxiliary switches.
The torque of 5Nm respectively 8Nm allows the
fail safe actuator to activate different types of dampers up to about
1.5 m2.
The high quality of the RAR actuator makes it capable of operating over
60 000 cycles. |
